Project Introduction
Chengdu-Guiyang Railway is newly constructed. Leshan-Guiyang Section is started from Leshan of Sichuan Province in the west, which passes through Qianwei County, Yibin, Changning County and Xingwen County under Sichuan Province, Weixin County and Zhenxiong County of Yunnan Province, Bijie, Dafang County and Qianxi County under Guizhou Province, and Guiyang eastwards. The whole length of Leshan (included) -Baiyun (excluded) Line is 515.02km, wherein the length is 258.577km in Sichuan Province, 79.299km in Yunnan Province, and 177.144km in Guizhou Province. There are a total of 474 bridges in the main line on the left section throughout the whole section, namely 178.216km, which accounts for 34.6% of the whole line length. 189 tunnels are newly constructed, and their total length is 241.415km, which accounts for 46.9% of the whole line. Total length of left connected bridges and tunnels is 419.631km for the whole section, bridges and tunnels account for 81.5%. Main line roadbed length is 95.389km, which accounts for 18.5% of the line length.
The whole line is divided into 15 stations, namely Leshan (integrated with Chengdu-Mianyang-Leshan Line), Qianwei, Nixi, Pingshan, Yibin East Station, Changning, Xingwen Shihai, Xinjie, Weixin, Zhenxiong, Bijie, Dafang, Qianxi, Weicheng North Station, Baiyun (integrated with Guishu Ring Line), etc. (Guiyang North Station is integrated with Guiyang-Guangzhou Line, etc., Guiyang East Station is excluded). The railway belongs to passenger dedicated line and double-line with electric traction. The designed running speed is 250km/h. Total construction duration of the project is 72 months, which will be completed in December 2019 (including integration test and commissioning for 6 months).
