Suining-Xichong Highway is started from Fushanba, Jixiang Town, Pengxi County, Suining, which is connected with planned city road of Suining. Suining-Xichong Highway passes through Chenglong and Zhanshan Township in the territory of Xichong. Xichong Interchange is set. The highway passes through Changlin, Fuan and Guanwen, which is ended in Jiajiawan of Taiping Town. Taiping Hub Interchange is set, which is connected with Guangyuan-Nanchong Highway.
The length of Suining-Xichong Highway in the territory of Xichong County is 26.8km, wherein road width is 24.5 meters, it is designed according to two-way 4-lane standards with designed speed of 100km/hour', which is introduced by Senior Engineer Li Zhi from Xichong County Transportation Bureau. It is the fourth highway constructed in the territory of Xichong County, which can connect Guangyuan-Nanchong Highway, Chengdu—Nanchong Highway, Chengde-Nanba Highway, Mianyan-Suining-Neijiang Highway and other important highways in Sichuan organically after construction completion. Connection among Nanchong, Guangyuan, Bazhong, Suining and other cities can be strengthened, thereby further promoting construction of Nanchong secondary comprehensive transportation hub.
The project is located on south-north route in Sichuan, north routes is tightly connected with south routes, thereby traffic pressure of Chengdu—Nanchong Highway can be effectively alleviated.
